A concept for the design of a 65,000 sf Villa to be located in Bel Air, California. This project found its inspiration in the natural beauty of the site's pristine location and its suprising proximity to the center of Beverly Hills. Nestled below the ridge on the eastern side of a canyon, and surrounded by the profusion of specimen trees, plants, flowers and a wine vineyard, this location is a unique combination of size, privacy and serenity. The project has been conceived correlating the shape of the house with the existing contours of the terrain, in order to conform to the retaining walls engineered to meet the new code. This organic shape will also be offering privacy to the different areas composing the structure, since the forced perspective will be always hiding the view of the house in its full shape.
